Perios has been at the forefront of the growth in Minimally Invasive Surgery (MIS) techniques of the foot and ankle in Australia. Partnering with some of the founding fathers of MIS in Europe to educate surgeons, Perios has innovated new techniques and engaged Australian surgeons to manufacture specific implants and equipment to improve surgical flow and patient outcomes.

Training and education are central to Perios’ approach to MIS foot techniques. We offer several domestic and international visitation opportunities for surgeons which we combine with individually tailored cadaveric courses. Each year we invite an international leader to lead our national MIS cadaver course in Sydney and our staff are some of the most experienced in leading surgeons on the challenging MIS transition.

We are proud to manufacture the majority of our MIS implants and equipment in Australia through our partners at Austofix and continue to welcome Australian surgeons to develop new techniques and hardware that will add to the evolving field of MIS foot and ankle approaches.
