Information we collect
We collect personal information (name, email address, phone number, e.t.c.) when you subscribe to our newsletter or request access to certain areas of our website. We may also collect personal data from you when interacting with our staff in the course of clinical support or sales activities. We occasionally collect personal information from third parties and will inform you how we acquired your information if requested.
When booking cases with us we will record other information such as hospital details, patient details or URNs and surgical details. These are required to ensure we can provide a professional and timely service. It is also required by hospitals in the processing of purchase orders and stock resupply.
Whilst using our website we collect “cookies” which are small packets of data which we use to identify unique visitors to our site, taylor content to users preferences and make improvements to our site content over time.
Use of information we collect
Information that we collect is used primarily in the business functions of Perios such as bookings processing, invoicing and logistics.
We use personal information to communicate with you regarding our products and services.
Other information we collect may be used for directing future product sourcing, marketing and for strategic planning in management meetings.
Storage of Information
All information collected is stored securely using our various software packages. The data is secured in accordance with the Privacy Act (Cth) 1988 and under our regulatory obligations through the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA).
Sharing of information
Occasionally we are required to share information we collect with our partners, hospitals and vendors as required by our contractual obligations. This is performed under our legal and regulatory obligations outlined above.
Personal information is only shared with third parties that we have written agreements with (for example distribution agreements with a supplier or consignment agreements with a hospital) and only information required by the third party is shared.
Access to your personal information
You may access the Personal Information we hold about you and to update and/or correct it, subject to certain exceptions. If you wish to access your Personal Information, please contact us in writing.
Perios will not charge you to access this information and to ensure your privacy we may require proof of identification to process this request.
